- On reflection, I think it's the QSL Bureau. Non-members pay a fairly
- hefty fee to use it (something like 10c a card, or thereabouts, plus
- postage) whereas it's part of the Member package.

- Amusing anecdote: every year, VK2 receives a donation from a member who
- wishes to remain anonymous, to pay the membership fee for a "deserving"
- person, at Council's discretion. This is usually achieved by going
- through the resignation letters, looking for the saddest "sob story".
- One was picked, from someone who was in ill-health, on a pension etc,
- and just couldn't afford the dues. Upon being informed he was the
- lucky recipient, the bugger came clean - it was just an excuse, and
- there wasn't a word of truth in it! Some mighty weird people out there...
