- My first effort to follow up failed, but having followed this thread from
- the begining I would still like to see aus.rail formed.
-
- The main reason is the volume of traffic in rec.railroad, which must
- interest some people. I unfortunately do not have time at work (or a
- computer or time at home) to go through voluminous lists not entirely
- relevant to my interests. If something of wider interest comes up in
- aus.rail (or Australian interest in rec.railroad) I hope someone (who may
- have a much more direct interest or more time than me) will cross post it.
-
- [ I gave up reading rec.aviation (slightly further from my heart than
- rec.railroad) for the same reason, but have subscribed to rec.soaring.
-
- I only resubscribed to rec.railroad to check out the suggestion that it is an
- appropriate platform for aus.rail and *I* do not think it is! If aus.rail
- is killed (assasinated?) perhaps we could push for
- rec.railroad.aus
- r.r.steam
- r.r.historical
- r.r.modern
- r.r.europe
- etc.
-
- Regards, Paul Harris
-
- PS keep trying for aus.rail!!
