  22. Carter isn't techno either, are they? There are stadium synth bands, notably
  23. DM and NO and Erasure but IMHO these bands rely on crowd fanaticism rather
  24. than an awesome (objectively) show. I say this as my opinion of what is a
  25. fact, while DM is still my favorite band.

  32. It's all percentage I think. DM is about 40% live, the rest of the complicated
  33. stuff is on tape and the vocals are live, so is the percussion and guitar
  34. (in those rare tracks with guitar).

  36. I suspect 808 is 90% sequenced and the rest is sampled (which means basically
  37. that you press the key for the loop at the beginning of each bar... very
  38. easy! :) Boxcar did this...)
