  13. As a result of a pothole or some other road blemish (NSW roads
  14. are full of them), I now have a (very) small ding in the rim of
  15. my front wheel. It is just enough to cause the loss of about 3-4
  16. psi per day from the tire.

  18. I can nurse it back and forth to work each day as I carry a pressure
  19. gauge and live near a servo but my question is... Can my local bike
  20. shop fix the wheel, or is it a specialist job?

  22. I've got contradictory advice recently - some say wheel repairs are
  23. an art form and require expert personnel and special equipment while
  24. others say it's easy to fix a small ding once the tire is off. Anyone
  25. have an opinion on this???
