- This is a summery of the replies I received to my question.
-
- I received several stock answers from the manual:-
- Turn off file sharing and network functions.
- If that doesn't work boot from disk other than the effected volume and try.
-
- Rename by clicking on the name, waiting for a box to appear and then typing in
- the name.
-
- From three people I received files.
- The first suggested UNLOCK FOLDER and sent it to me.
- The second sent me Unlock Folder with instructions on use.
- The third suggested Filetyper which he sent to me afterwords.
-
- The problem was solved with Unlock folder, which is simple to use.
- I could of used Filetyper except that I left it at my account instead of taking it home.
-
- Filetyper can be got from sumex-aim.stanford.edu via anonymous FTP
- in info-mac/util and is called filetyper3.2.hqx
-
- I don't currently know the path for Unlock folder.
- Mail me, I may have it later.
- I may also, on request mail it to you in binhex from.

- The other solution is to format and reinstall your software.
- This is considered last ditch by me and the person who suggested it.
