  20. The University is redeveloping its Student Information System to 
  21. conform with the Ingres Version 6 environment which supports its 
  22. accounting, personnel and payroll systems.
  23.  
  24. The successful applicant will be a software analyst/developer with 
  25. appropriate experience to assist during the initial analysis and 
  26. design phase of the project.  The appointment is for 12 months 
  27. initially with the possibility of renewal according to the project 
  28. requirements.

  30. Applicants are required to have tertiary qualifications incorporating 
  31. a computing major, a proven record in administrative systems analysis 
  32. within an INGRES environment and good communication skills.  
  33. Experience with project management and with the Software Through 
  34. Pictures CASE tool would be an advantage.
