  22. If you are working at 1024x768 then a non-interlaced monitor is a MUST!
  23. At high resolution the flicker drives you crazy.  I have a NEC 4D at home,
  24. which is non-interlaced at 1024x768 and I use it for graphics, CAD and windows at
  25. that resolution.  Before I bought the monitor (about a year ago) I looked at the
  26. cheaper SVGA monitors and they were fine at 800x600 but no good at 1024x768.
  27. At work, the person in the office next to me has a standard SVGA monitor, and it 
  28. makes me dizzy (sp?) just looking at it.

  30. Most (standard) SVGA monitors are non-interlaced at 800x600.

  32. If 800x600 is good enough for you, then you can save money by not buying the
  33. more expensive high-res non-interlaced monitors.
