- If you are working at 1024x768 then a non-interlaced monitor is a MUST!
- At high resolution the flicker drives you crazy. I have a NEC 4D at home,
- which is non-interlaced at 1024x768 and I use it for graphics, CAD and windows at
- that resolution. Before I bought the monitor (about a year ago) I looked at the
- cheaper SVGA monitors and they were fine at 800x600 but no good at 1024x768.
- At work, the person in the office next to me has a standard SVGA monitor, and it
- makes me dizzy (sp?) just looking at it.
-
- Most (standard) SVGA monitors are non-interlaced at 800x600.
-
- If 800x600 is good enough for you, then you can save money by not buying the
- more expensive high-res non-interlaced monitors.
-
- cheers
- Stephen.
