- Desqview/X seems to be available now. We have had a copy running
- here, and I actually saw a copy running at the Home Computer show that was
- on in Melbourne this weekend. I think I have seen it advertised in the
- Green Guide here as well. The main criticism of Desqview/X is that it is
- rather slow. A 486 PC and a fast graphics card seem desirable to run it.
- If you want to run it in a network you need to get some TCP/IP code as well.
- There is some talk of them releasing the libraries needed to make your
- own PC based X applications, but presumably you need a 32 bit compiler
- to go with it. Of course you can always run DOS and MS Windows 3.0
- applications under it.
