- I'm new to this list, so please forgive my fumbling until I get more adept!

- I would like to correct a mis-assumption that was posted to an earlier message.
- In that message that wolves and weasels kill for fun or something similiar.
- There has been some research done on this subject and the conclusion so far is
- that the wolves instincts appear to get short-circuited(?) when they encounter
- food that doesn't run away. (Pens, fences, even when deer get snow locked in a
- valley). Since this isn't normal behavior for food, it triggers something in
- their brains, hense the slaughter of fenced beef, sheep, etc.
