  14.     IMHO Vlad Tepes, aka Vlad the impailer, aka Dracula was a part of 
  15. the basis of the Stoker Vampire, because it is said that he would eat his
  16. dinner while the people were being impailed.  I know that doesn't appear
  17. to resemble a vampire, but the fact that he let the blood of the people
  18. being impaled drip down on his plate would.
