  27. I have to agree.  I loved the movie and read the book.  Why is it that
  28. fans of a genre are so unsupportive of the films.  Dune fans were disappointed
  29. by the movie as were Batman fans.  These movies were not made to live up
  30. tho the expectations ov a select MINORITY of genre fanatics but to entertain
  31. the masses (eg: MASS media).  If FFC decided to tell the tale in his own
  32. way that's his prerogative.
