- I have to agree. I loved the movie and read the book. Why is it that
- fans of a genre are so unsupportive of the films. Dune fans were disappointed
- by the movie as were Batman fans. These movies were not made to live up
- tho the expectations ov a select MINORITY of genre fanatics but to entertain
- the masses (eg: MASS media). If FFC decided to tell the tale in his own
- way that's his prerogative.
