- Let me add some raving about Hopkins' performance-what the perfect
- actor to balance the murkiness with some humor "No, we're only going to
- cut her heart out and chop off her head" I found the novel was very
- twisted by the other weak characters like Jonathan, that Texan, and
- Lucy's sweatheart (from The Princess Bride), and was about to puke and
- retch when Van Helsing was introduced sucking the blood from his
- finger, bitten by a vampire bat.Or how about screaming that Lucy was the
- devil's concubine-but let's eat first...

- Although I don't remember the book to be so entertaining in that
- way, Hopkin's pulled the whole shmeal off like I expected he would, and
- despite the new phony "princess from a past life" crud, Wynona was
- convincing.
-
- My advice is-read the book and you'll see how FFC brought the story
- alive.I watched in amazement as my roommate and her boyfriend left the
- theater in disgust and annoyance, their putrified null lives insulted by
- the exhilaration of this masterpiece and my obvious exstacy.
-
- I'll be dragging them to any Lestat movie, but first I'm buying Dracula!
