  14. i have been hooked up to the internet for a few months now and i have
  15. noticed that more than a few people write exclusively in lower-
  16. case.  this has been my first exposure (outside of poetry) to
  17. correspondence and composition of this sort; none of my family or
  18. friends has ever written exclusively in lower-case.  i wonder why
  19. people do this?  is it a matter of being able to type quicker?
  20. is it that (nb: didn't use "because") people feel this kind of prose
  21. looks better?  i will admit to finding it a little grating, but not
  22. even close to being as annoying as ALL CAPS EXPRESSION.
