  32. indeed, that guy's chinese was pretty good, he could be a native speaker.  
  33. All except maybe the the newsanchors on CCTV have more or less an accent
  34. speaking Mandarin, usually northerners speaks better mandarin, and native
  35. Beijingers speaks real fast(southerners like me had constantly mentally 
  36. rewind what I've heard while carry on a full speed conversation), and have 
  37. lots of local slangs in their talks.  So speaking slowly doesn't mean that
  38. actor is not a native Chinese speaker.

  40. I can hide my accent pretty well while talking to guys from 
  41. Taiwan or other further southern provinces, and usually fool them about where 
  42. I am from, but I can't fool real northerners a bit even I pay attention 
  43. while speaking.
