  12. Would anyone out there argue that the movie "Platoon" has a different meaning
  13. to a Vietnam War Veteran than to a civilian.  This doesn't mean that the
  14. civilian cannot "get it", that war is hell, but the relationship between
  15. the viewer and the movie IS DIFFERENT.

  17. This is the point of the postings regarding Inside NY Humor!  Not that you
  18. can't get it, but that it's different if you've been there.  Please
  19. don't be so sensitive, we mean no disrespect.  The fact is, Seinfeld glorifies
  20. the kind of mundane day-to-day things we do everywhere, but with a New York
  21. flair.  We're proud to see our way of life on the tube, and forgive us if 
  22. we brag a little.
