- Would anyone out there argue that the movie "Platoon" has a different meaning
- to a Vietnam War Veteran than to a civilian. This doesn't mean that the
- civilian cannot "get it", that war is hell, but the relationship between
- the viewer and the movie IS DIFFERENT.
-
- This is the point of the postings regarding Inside NY Humor! Not that you
- can't get it, but that it's different if you've been there. Please
- don't be so sensitive, we mean no disrespect. The fact is, Seinfeld glorifies
- the kind of mundane day-to-day things we do everywhere, but with a New York
- flair. We're proud to see our way of life on the tube, and forgive us if
- we brag a little.
