- Hmm, I've seen a few requests since it was last posted, so here once
- again is the Thanksgiving schedule. But first, I'd like to point out
- for future reference how to get schedules of MST3000. The simplest
- way, I think, is to get on the mailing list for Comedy Central's
- newsletter, "Funny Pages". Call or write them:
-
- Comedy Central
- 1775 Broadway
- New York, NY 10019
- (212) 767-8600
-
- It's free, it comes once a month, the only drawback is that some of us
- often don't get it by the 1st of the month. Usually someone does get
- it sooner and posts the schedule here, so I think this newsgroup is a
- pretty reliable source for schedules, you just have to be looking for
- them around the beginning of the month. Tell you what: if I don't
- see a schedule here by the time I get my copy of "Funny Pages", I'll
- try to remember to post it.
-
- Another good source of schedules (among many other things) may be the
- "Satellite of Love Newsletter", an electronic digest. I say "may be"
- simply because I'm not on the mailing list and thus not sure of its
- timing, but the schedules are there. Back issues (and other stuff
- related to MST3000) are available by anonymous FTP at syrinx.umd.edu
- in the various subdirectories of the "mst3k" directory. It's from one
- of these back issues that I've cribbed the following schedule for the
- rest of November (I don't have my copy of "Funny Pages" with me).
- I've attempted to add the short films, where applicable. Profuse
- apologies if there have been any changes that I'm unaware of.
-
- The marathon runs Wednesday, Nov. 25 at 6 p.m. to midnight Nov. 26/27.
-
- 6 PM - The Beatnicks *>NEW<*
- 8 PM - Master Ninja I
- 10 PM - Space Travelers
- Mid. - The Lost Continent
- 2 AM - City Limits
- 4 AM - Viking Women and the Sea Serpent (w/ The Home Economics Story)
- 6 AM - The Giant Gila Monster
- 8 AM - King Dinosaur (w/ X Marks the Spot)
- 10 AM - Santa Claus Conquers the Martians
- Noon - The Magic Sword
- 2 PM - Teenagers from Outer Space
- 4 PM - Hercules Unchained
- 6 PM - The Unearthly (w/ Posture Pals, Appreciating Our Parents)
- 8 PM - Gamera vs. Guiron
- 10 PM - Fire Maidens of Outer Space *>NEW<*
-
- After the last movie, they're repeating "This is MST3K" (a half-hour
- infomercial, from what I've heard). "This is MST3K" is also being
- shown on Nov. 24 at 9 p.m. & 3 a.m., and Nov. 27 at 2:30 p.m.
-
- Regular episodes later in the weekend are "Cave Dwellers" on Friday
- night at 12:30 a.m. and "Crash of the Moons" (a new one) on Saturday
- Nov. 28 at 10 a.m. and 7 p.m.
-
- Hope that satisfies everyone's information appetite for now. I
- suppose an episode guide might help, but I'll refer people to the FTP
- archive at syrinx.umd.edu for that...
