- Sounds like a job for...MUSIC MAN!!! :-)

-
- Yes, "Mr. B Natural", quite arguably the *best* bit of mst3k ever!

-
- Well, yeah, he's right...kinda. I guess we should get him the points
- for coming close enough, though. I'd call it more of a flatted fifth,
- since a diminished reference could lead to ambiguity over whether it's
- half- or fully-diminished. But the idea's the same.
-
- The tritone is a dissonant interval that the Catholic Church actually
- *banned* for years, seeing as how it sounds "evil". Eventually it
- came to be known as the devil's tritone. (actually, "tritone" comes
- from meaning "three [whole] tones", which is the distance of the
- measured interval).
-
- Likewise, the locrian mode (the seventh mode of the major scale) was
- frowned upon, seeing how the tonic note and it's fifth are a tritone.
- Ya just don't see much chuch music written in it (one more reason to
- despise religion, in my book...).
-
- Jazz, on the other hand, uses the mode freely... :-)

- Oooh, and how 'bout the ballad at the dance?
-
- "We're white, we're white,
- we're really really white..."
- - Mr. B (natch :-)
-
- Good ol' fashion Aryan-bashing! I love it! :-)
