  13. I must be one of the "right people" who get MST 3K, according to Joel.  
  14. Hmmm.  Neat.  I can count myself among Doogie Howser, Emilio Estevez (or was
  15. it Charlie Sheen?), and a whole bunch of fat middle-aged TV critics!

  17. I thought the "This is MST3K" special was pretty neat, although I doubt it
  18. said anything that anybody who reads alt.mst.3k didn't already know.  And
  19. did we need to be reminded just how annoying Penn Jilette really is?

  21. It looked like they taped the interviews with the fans at one of the Live
  22. showings.  Were any of you readers of alt.tv.mst3k in the special?

  24. I wish they had shown more clips from the first season -- it looked pretty
  25. neat!  (Especially the going-through-the-tunnel-to-the-Mystery-Science-
  26. Theater part.)  It looked lower-budget, maybe, but also a little bit more,
  27. oh, I don't know, call me a mad romantic but it looked a little more "homey,"
  28. dammit!  And the chance to see them do "Thunderbirds Are Go!" would be too
  29. good to pass up.  I want to see them!!  I WILL see them!  KHAAAAN!!!
