  32. The link is that there was a break-in at the school and then Dylan
  33. skipped town.  Also,  it has already been established (by the
  34. Admissions Testing Service) that Dylan is willing to do underhanded
  35. things in order to improve his academic records.  Furthermore, it's
  36. certainly possible that Dylan's grades were lost, since the people on
  37. the show repeatedly referred to "grades" (note the plural) that were
  38. lost.  Finally, Dylan doesn't know any less about computers than
  39. Steve does.  Oh yeah, and Dylan has already had more than his share
  40. of run-ins with the law.  Oh yeah, oh yeah, and his dad is in prison.
