  18. Bear in mind that not all of the stuff described therein is implemented
  19. in existing SPARC chips; the only currently-available SPARC V8 chips I
  20. know of are the Viking^H^H^H^H^H^HSuperSPARC and
  21. Tsunami^H^H^H^H^H^H^microSPARC chips, although others will probably come
  22. out in the future (e.g., Pinnacle^H^H^H^H^H^H^H^HHyperSPARC).

  24. For example, most SPARC chips don't support the multiply and divide
  25. instructions (they do support multiply step), although SunOS 4.1 and
  26. later have simulation code for those instructions.
