  34. ArnMaster creates databases, that's right. It uses information about (new)
  35. articles from ACTIVEFILE and ACTIVEFILE.bak (which is always the active-file
  36. from Arnmasters latest scan, so it can recognize new articles).
  37. ArnMaster should be run before you start Arn or each time you get new articles
  38. (ArnDaemon or cron can be used for this purpose). If UULIB:active.bak is identical
  39. to UULIB:active (in your case), ArnMaster doesn't scan. Delete UULIB:active.bak
  40. or use "ArnMaster -C" which forces ArnMaster to check all articles.

  42. ArnMaster requires a configuration-file (UULIB:.arnmasterrc) unless you
  43. use a ".arnrc" in the UULIB: directory (in this case you can put all
  44. entries for ArnMaster into this file).

  46. First of all, you must be sure that a correct ACTIVE-file is used.
  47. But if Arn displays groups it seems to be found. The initial active-file
  48. must be set up by you!!
