- The Jesus on E's Demo works on my system (after some changes)
-
- System: Amiga2000B (PAL) with 5 Meg RAM and 512k Chip (No turbo)
- 2 internal drives DF0: 3.5 DF1: 5.25
- Kickrom: 2.04
-
- I think the problem was the drives: First the Demo run a quarter of an hour
- and then crashed with guru 8....3 (Odd address error).
-
- The DMS packer does not do any verifies, I think, and the DF1: drive
- couldn't step as fast as the Demo wanted it to do at certain positions
- of the Demo (when large coperlists or Laced graphics showed up).
- DMS definitely NEEDS a verify option and a better tracking routine.
-
- I copied both disks onto themselves with SuperDuper V2.02 (Option Date off,
- Verify on), and now it works fine :-) .
-
- (Indeed, I don't like techno music, but this demo is technically perfect,
- and the animations are great !)
-
- My version of the demo came from: 'ftp.uni-kl.de' (Germany) in
- pub/amiga/aminet/demo/euro.
