  13. now the kcs board allowed me the option to use that half meg as a ram
  14. disk or as fast ram (i thought). Before i got my hard disk the half
  15. meg was a ram disk but once i installed my hard disk i completely forgot
  16. to install the kcs ram disk thus (i thought) leaving the half meg as
  17. fast ram BUT
  18.  
  19. after several upgrades of the kcs board (software based by the way
  20. the kcs board is a pc emulator and good at it) i think my extra
  21. kcs half meg had made my chip ram upto 1 meg of chip ram.(i dont
  22. know how)

  24. The only reason i know this is that a computer magazine (cant remember
  25. which one) gave away a demo of ceaser but it would only work if you
  26. had 1 meg chip ram. So my cousin who lives with also has an amiga
  27. his being a 1.3 a500 without a kcs board tried the demo but to 
  28. no avail.

  30. So i tried out the demo. (i think i may have copied to my hd can't
  31. remember) and to my amazement it worked!! (Total Amazement). My
  32. cousin and i could'nt understand how but i figured it was the extra
  33. half meg which i think, not to sure but i believe the kcs board
  34. had defaulted the half meg to chip ram. (I have the old chip set)
  35.  
  36. So i believe there must be a way to turn your memory somehow into
  37. 1 meg chip ram.
