- Also try to tell yourself that you're doing this for YOU. You accept your
- body (whatever shape you're in) but in your heart you know you want to feel
- better about yourself when you look in the mirror. Somehow the extra pounds
- are a real downer, even though you try to ignore them and rationalize your
- negative feelings. Ask yourself, "What do YOU want?" Is eating healthy
- a benefit for you? Is it something harmful? Is it a positive regime?

- I know what you're talking about. I'm only 5 1 1/2" and 5 lbs. on me looks
- like 25. I think you husband is wonderful (I'd keep him).
- Good for him that he is so supportive of you. At least you don't have to feel
- like if only you lost some weight you'd make him happier. No pressure there
- at all. So you can choose to lose weight just for you.

- For the first time in years (at least 15) I've been watching what I eat and
- exercizing 3 times a week. What a difference it makes. We're heavy because
- we;ve done both - eaten too much and exercised too little. If you don't have
- the willpower to diet right now, how about just adding exercise into your
- weekly routine (at least 45 minutes 3 times a week). That could be just
- walking or invest in a exercize equipment. (I have a stepper and I love it).

- I'm also hypogylcemic and have snacks between my meals. If you make certain
- your snacks are fruit, you'll see what a difference it makes when you eat
- healthily. You'll feel better. Have more energy.

- >I really think the key is exercise. What do you think?
- I think you're right. But if you do both (exercise and diet) that's where you
- see quicker results. Good luck! Maureen
