- I know what you mean. The other problem is that so many of the jeans made
- in plus sizes shrink the minute you wash them, even in cold water, etc.

- I did find one brand, though that is great -- LEE:
- - come in sizes up to at least 28W
- - have an elastic insert at the sides of the waistband, leaving the front
- and back of the waistband flat
- - are not made of some knit substance pretending to be denim
- - come in lengths average and short (for those 5'4" or under)
- - don't shrink to a size smaller than you bought when you put them in
- the washing machine.

- I buy this brand almost exclusively now. Problem sometimes is finding
- them. Your posting reminds me that I've meant to find the phone number for
- LEE so I could call them to find out what stores in my area sell their plus
- sizes. If I track down their number I'll post it.
