  34. Is it only my experience, or do large-size women's clothes seem to
  35. be getting more and more expensive for less and less quality?

  39. P.S. Just had to share an experience with you.  Over the weekend, I was
  40. at our local feminist/lesbian bookstore picking up my Fall copy of
  41. Radiance, and while digging through the political buttons (looking
  42. for one with the pink triangle that says "Straight but Not Narrow" -
  43. anyone know where I can find one?) I came across one that says "Fat
  44. Can Be Beautiful".  I took a deep breath, and pinned it to my coat (after
  45. paying for it of course!  :) )  I'm sick of comments on the street, and
  46. didn't know if this would be an open invitation for more.  But the
  47. response has been great!  The most negative thing that's happened is
  48. one store clerk just stared at it and then rolled her eyes.  For the
  49. most part, it creates smiles, laughs, an occasional "All right!",
  50. and one man who stopped me and said "That's so true, I love bigger
  51. women, you all are *real* women!"  I'm having a lot of fun with it.
  52.
