  25. I reply to this with the feeling that I've just taken the bait, but here goes:

  27. Believe it or not, the Post Office really used to deliver mail without postage.
  28. The recipient would have to pay the postage due to get the letter.

  30. A friend of mine had no qualms about mailing her utility bills without stamps,
  31. under the popular sentiment that the bigger companies could eat the expense.
