- Hi guys.... A few months back i pulled a shell archive of a program
- called 'nkill' down off alt.sources (I believe). What it did was
- grep the ps -aux listing against a string supplied by the user -- if
- it found any matches, it would allow you to kill (whichever sig) one
- or more or all of the processes it listed for you. I have the executable,
- but somehow (hmmm) I managed to lose track of the sources. I did an
- archie lookup, but only came up with a script at utexas, which is, imho,
- not as 'neat' as the c program was. At least it's prettier. ;)
-
- Anyhow, should anyone have that program, i'd appreciate gettin' a copy.
- Or, point me to an ftp site someplace. ;)
-
- Thanks
- John
