  7.         This code is free software and may be distributed under the

  11.     At Rice, most student computing happens on a distributed network
  12. of Sun workstations.  In a distributed network of this sort, it is
  13. often difficult to keep track of where your lab partners and friends
  14. are working.  FolkScan tries to provide an efficient method for
  15. monitoring the location of people on a set of RPC capable hosts.

  17.     The usage of FolkScan is pretty intuitive, IMHO.  The
  18. man page should answer any of your questions.

  20.     FolkScan little utility was written in C++ on a sun4 with gcc 
  21. v2.2.2.  I am unsure of it's portability.  If you make any changes, have any
  22. suggestions, or find any bugs, please send me mail.  Thanks.
