- Yes and no. The Specials originally wanted to be called The Automatics,
- but there was another band in the area already called that. They then
- called themselves The Specials A.K.A. The Automatics, or The Special AKA
- for short. After "Gangsters", they dropped the AKA, and just called
- themselves The Specials. After "More Specials", though, the original
- line-up came apart and they reformed into The Special A.K.A. Whew, done.
