- I, unfortunately, deleted the artice before I could reply.
-
- Well, my apologies to those of you who were offended by my
- 'foo-foo' creature comment. It was not meant to be offensive
- to anyone. If you were offended please accept my apology.
-
- Now, I don't believe that women are foo foo creatures. I
- have NEVER thought that. I just feel that the fashion industry
- (and this includes the pattern companies) doesn't often fulfill
- the needs of those among us ( this does include me) who are
- not 'average' in size. It does get irritating to have to alter
- every darn pattern I get my hands on before I can start using it.
-
- Am I saying that average women are 'foo-foos'? Absolutely not.
- Am I saying that women who are not average in size are 'foo-foos'?
- Again, no. It was a poor choice of words on my part.
-
- I am an ardent supporter of womens rights and I don't believe
- that size is a measure of one's self-worth, intelligence, brain
- size, etc.
-
- My sincerest apologies. Can we let this rest now? Thanks.
