  19. Not a flame, but an observation... When the US Catholic bishops a couple days
  20. ago decided to shelve a declaration on the Church's position on women's issues,
  21. the media reported it, then immediately interviewed feminists who want female
  22. priests.  The media passed up a golden opportunity to lable these dissenters
  23. as "the religious left," but instead passed with the impression that these
  24. dissenters represent an overwhelming majority of American Catholics... and they
  25. represent, of course, nothing of the sort.
