  16. It's 0600 on Sunday morning and I am at work, so this
  17. may wander deeply.  I don't know yet, 'cause I haven't
  18. written it yet.....
  19.  
  20. It has been written here that ladies have to be careful of
  21. men who are being romantic because they may want something.
  22. It has also been written that men have to be careful of
  23. ladies who are being romantic because they may after something
  24. as well.

  26. Good golly Miss Molly.....(polite form of what I was thinking)

  28. Sure we are after something, could it be love?  Could it
  29. be closeness with someone we care about?  Nah, we don't want
  30. that now do we......all we want is manipulate the other person
  31. into doing something for us.....
  32.  
  33. If this is what you believe, then why would you continue to
  34. be interested in other people(leaving this open for MOOS and
  35. MOSS relationships)????  If we have become that afraid of what
  36. the other person may do.....then we will never open to them so
  37. they come to appreciate the complete person that we are.  We will
  38. always have one foot over the line, in the land of safety in fear
  39. that this person wants to use us...
  40.  
  41. Does the word TRUST ever fit into relationships????  Well I hope
  42. so..  For me it certainly does.  Each and every relationship that I
  43. enter has the possibility of being wonderful, (ie love of my life,
  44. dear and close friend, good companion....et al) or disasterous, (ie
  45. manipulative dishonest *&%^$^%$(&^^^ who abuses my friendship) or
  46. somewhere in between.  Most fall into the somewhere in between.  But
  47. if I hide behind my fears of the relationship failing or being a
  48. disaster, then I may very well miss the love of my life.
  49.  
  50. Very few people reading this group now remember when BDC made his
  51. first entrance into ARC, GEMR, Steve, CatWoman and Blade are a few
  52. that were here.  The failed relationship I was going throught at the
  53. time rocked me and my beliefs to the very core.  Since then I have
  54. had a relationship fail because the other had substantially different
  55. beliefs as to what a friendships was and I have another that currently
  56. has developed into the best friend I have ever had.
  57.  
  58. Sure there maybe some people who are going to use your trust, but so
  59. what.  Ther will also be some people who will not abuse your trust, in
  60. fact they may return what you give to them ten fold....So relax, enjoy
  61. life as best you can...
