  29. I have had this book for a long time along with a few hundred similar to
  30. it. I believe this is one of the better ones. If I remember right it
  31. discusses some of the ups and downs of relationships. It talks about
  32. when a couples relationship goes from being perfect with good communication
  33. to a one where one or both partners distance themselves from the other.
  34. I found it very informative. It is by Judith Sills Ph.D.  I think you can
  35. still get the book through mailorder (cheap) if you can't find it in stores.

  37. I have a favorite discount book company that I deal with. They have lots
  38. of social science books as well as other types of books real cheap. You can
  39. e-mail me if you want the address for a catalog. They don't list a ph #.
  40. If you want, I can email you my list of social science books. Many have
  41. come from this book company. I always advocate reading these types of books
  42. so you know what to expect in a relationship or marrage. I dislike the term
  43. 'self help' books because that implies that anyone who reads them has some
  44. sort of problem. I like to think of it as studying and preparing for
  45. social happiness. I would like to see educators make these types of
  46. books mandatory reading in grades 1-12. IMHO there is not enough
  47. training in schools dealing with dating, relationships, marrage, child
  48. raising, etc....
