  15. Hmm...not sure where to start.  You don't want me to start at the
  16. beginning, do you (you know, the Big Bang and all :-) ?

  18. Her name's Heidi, and she's a dietician working at one of the (many)
  19. hospitals here in Houston.  She moved here from San Francisco, which is
  20. where she got her degree.  As I mentioned, we met at the place I work
  21. out (Bally's).  At the time, she was studying for her board exams, so I
  22. managed to get her to talk about that.  This apparently worked.  :-)
  23. At the time, she didn't have any time to do anything until she took her
  24. board exam, which was a couple of weeks after I first met her, so we got
  25. a chance to talk a couple of times further.
  26.  
  27. The First Date:  We went to a place called Dave and Buster's, which has
  28. just about anything you can imagine right there in one building.  It has
  29. bowling lanes, a video game room, pool tables, a bar, a dance floor, a
  30. restaurant, a theater, and probably more that I'm not aware of.  We had
  31. dinner there and went bowling that night.  Despite the awkwardness of the
  32. goodnight kiss, I knew there was potential here.

  34. The Second Date:  We went to the Pat Metheny concert.  But first, she fixed
  35. dinner at her place.  Yum!  She loves to cook (which I guess makes sense,
  36. in that she's got a great deal of interest in food).  I thanked her by
  37. giving her a nice hug, and wow did she respond!  We were in each others'
  38. arms all through the concert and the rest of the night.

  40. Well, the rest is basically history.  We've been seeing more and more of
  41. each other since, and things have been going pretty well.  I can't
  42. complain.  :-)
