  24. This is the understatement of the week.  Last year during an eight-week  period
  25. starting sometime in October and ending about two weeks before Christmas,
  26. EVERYONE wanted to go out with me (well, okay, actually a fairly small 
  27. subset of everyone- felt like everyone, though) right while I was trying
  28. to figure out whether or not to go to graduate school, and I nearly 
  29. experienced a total breakdown.  It's nice to be popular, but there's such
  30. a thing as an embarassment of riches.  (If I spelled that wrong, no flames
  31. please- there's no dictionary handy).
