- Look at it from her perspective. She has a warm, caring, attentive friend,
- who obviously likes her and does things for her....and she doesn't have to do
- anything in return to keep this thing going. So why should she change? She
- has things very good, and she doesn't have to work for them!

- If you do pull back, chances are she would change...but chances are also good
- that she would revert to her current behavior patterns should you resume your
- attentions.

- It's a sad truth of life that people very rarely look at someone who has been
- devoted to them, suddenly notice how wonderful they are, and start
- reciprocating.
