  29. Am I the only one out here who likes House of Blue Light?  I liked Perfect
  30. Strangers but thought HoBL was better.  I thought Gillan's voice was ok
  31. on Absence of Pink as well.

  33. I saw him three nights in a row when he made it here with the Gillan band
  34. earlier this year and he was phenomenal, nothing wrong with that voice at
  35. all.  Like you said he is pure showman, his performence on 'When A Blind
  36. Man Cries' (just him and the guiatrist playing acoustic) was sensational.

  45. Turner's ok but I think he's my least favourite out of all the Purple/Rainbow
  46. vocalists.  His voice is to much of the 'Nice' sanitised American pop variety
  47. for my likes, though he is getting a bit rougher.
