  13. I recently picked up a video, "Deep Purple - Heavy Metal Pioneers", which
  14. contain some recent interviews with the guys including Ian Gillan. In one
  15. interview Jon Lord says something to the effect that Ian Gillan and
  16. Ritchie Blackmore have no love for each other and you couldn't get
  17. them in the same city much less the same band. So if Gillan is getting
  18. back in they must have done some serious making up.

  20. Also, Gillan said he had been having some trouble with his voice
  21. (laringitis?sp?), but he's had it taken care of and it feels great.
  22. The only thing is, it's hard to date that interview so I don't know
  23. if this is before he left or after or when.
