- Not quite sure what happened to Turner... But I did see them on "Slaves &
- Masters" in Pittsburgh at the ol' (*sob*) Syria Mosque on that tour... Turner
- did a decent job handling the vocals (in fact, I've got a bootleg from that
- show---bad quality), but he just wasn't Ian Gillian... I have also seen them
- with Gillian on "House...Light"--- a much better show than with Turner, no
- doubt... Don't get me wrong--- I like JL Turner a lot--- but not doing classic
- Purple numbers--- he just didn't have the Gillian trademark showmanship/voice.
