- -> "Special Guest Star" was Thunder. Unfortunately I don't know their record,
- -> I've just heard a couple of their songs. Their set started with a playback

-
- The best part of their show IMO. "LLIHP" is a nice song, but the rest
- of their stuff was really unoriginal.
-
- -> Aggressive and excellent sound from the first song! And you could here Nuno
- -> playing all those riffs & things all the time - great! Me smile was already
-
- Yeah, the sound was definitely better than last time they played
- Helsinki. The horns (see below) could've been mixed a bit upper though.
-
- -> I somehow missed where "part II" of the concert started, but "part III" began
- It was from beginning of the acoustic solo.
-
- -> by "Hole Harted". AND. All of you who have listened to Extreme just because
- -> of their heavy and aggressive stuff - beware: 2 guys on trumpet and 2 guys
- -> on sax joined the band. There was something of Tower of Power in it, the song
- -> was funked up a lot. Great!
-
- Minor correction: A trumpet, a trombone plus a tenor and a baritone
- sax. The first time in ages I heard a trombone solo. The horns were
- great, the best thing about the show. The reason I originally got
- hooked on Extreme was the horns on "Get The Funk Out". And I really
- enjoyed the funkier versions of the songs. Like "Teacher's Pet"...
- Too bad they didn't play "Pornograffitti" or "Flesh & Blood".
-
- -> a difference, too. Nuno played some sort of timbales together with Paul
-
- There was a pair of congas, too... the drums/percussion duet was
- great. I think the guys should start playing some funky fusion stuff :)
-
- -> Nuno came in, sat down at the piano and started "Seven Sundays", a "come on
-
- Yeah, they even had a grand just for this one song. I wish they'd been
- more keyboards but even the horns were a real pleasant surprise.
