best Band: THE TRAGICALLY HIP
Ottawa,Ontario,Canada Nov.16, Ottawa Civic Center
I just saw the best band in Canada play on Monday-"The Hip"
It was at the opening night of the cross Canada tour in Ottawa. It was
amazing. I managed to get into the front row on the floor where the
crowd just demolished the chairs that used to be there. They switched every
every other song from playing from the new album to old stuff.
People kept jumping up on stage then jumping off or got thrown off by the bouncer at one point GORD "the lead singer" jumped into the crowd is was insane!!!
Unfortuneately, too many people jumped on the stage towards the end and hit GORD
so they walk off after playing a few songs into their encore. But the Concert
was such a high. They didn't have any fancy lights or props just straight ahead
great rock and roll! There was an actual earth quake that occurred in Ottawa
that and it just happened to be at the exact time "the HIP" got off stage
coincidence? I think not!
If you get a chance to see them pay any price to go you won't be disappointed!
I don't think any current band in the world can beat their LIVE ACT!!
