  46. The Phx Org, where I was on staff, does need more money.  The buidling,
  47. for instance, is very old and rather unsuitable.  The air conditioning
  48. had been broken for a year (remember this is Phoenix, AZ where 110's F
  49. weather is normal in the summer).  Running low on supplies is common.

  51. Up & up: Phx Org sends 10% of its income up to, I think, FOLO West US.
  52. This is a management organization that has no other income.  FOLO, in
  53. turn, sends a small percentage up to another organization.  Etc.
  54. This money is turned into TV and magazine ads which benefit PHX Org.
  55. Also, other materials are made available to benefit PHX Org.  Plus,
  56. the management organizations depend on a fraction of the 10% for
  57. their organizational expenses.
