  26. Imagine Poing (Tune Request) without the poings.  Now, imagine that
  27. you're playing it through a stack of guitar amps.  Now, imagine that
  28. the lead singer for Einstuerzende Neubauten is there, singing, and
  29. he's pissed.

  31. Now, I like good, hard techno as much as anyone.  However, I wasn't so
  32. thrilled with this song.  The beats are too noisy, too fast, there's
  33. too much screaming, too much everything.  I'd be more comfortable
  34. slamming to this than dancing, I think.  The song's not bad per se,
  35. but it's just not my cup of tea.  Buy at your own risk.

  42. I find it innocuous but not unpleasant.  Jay likes it well enough.
  43. I don't like the uninspired piano, but there is one mix (the Deep
  44. Techno mix) which *doesn't* have the piano, and *does* have weird
  45. crunchy synths in it.  Jay can't put his finger on why he likes 
  46. it, but he finds himself tapping his feet when he hears it.  I must
  47. admit that some of the mixes have some good beats in there.

  53. We find this single a little monotonous.  Can't put our fingers on
  54. why.  Dildo was repetitive, but it was good.  Elelvator should be, by
  55. any objective measure, less monotonous.  More breaks, more synth
  56. hooks.  However, we don't like it.  Too boring.  Weird, huh?

  58. The flip side contains two tracks, Dildomania, and Future Dreams.
  59. Dildomania is a live version of Dildo which, surprisingly enough, is
  60. very cool.  It has a very different feel than the 12".  Lots of
  61. interesting sounds, samples...

  63. Future Dreams is ambient-ish and not too bad, although it reminds me
  64. of a certain section of the Miami Vice theme song.
