- : Yes, along with techno soundtracks for commercials, raves have hit American TV.
- : My girlfriend, junk TV junkie that she is, was watching "Silk Stalkings" last

- : and the whole episode was about this villain who promoted warehouse raves and

- Another in the long line of 'raves talked about on junk tv shows' hits the
- airwaves. I was vegging out at home after a long evening of studying
- Russian literature in comparison to its political history from The Thaw to
- Perestroika. Ok, so I went a little off the deep-end on my explanation.
- ANYWAY...
-
- It was a new show, I think Camp Something-er-other, Camp Wilder maybe? The
- main character just bumped into an old friend, they went out one evening, and
- she came home one evening and in the morning told her kids that she had gone
- to a rave the night before. The kids said, "A rave? You went to a
- rave?!?!?" Her response, "Well yea, I mean, it was a blast. The music was
- great and I danced for hours and hours."
-
- Any other incedence of raves in the mainstream?
