  29. Where's the banning in this case? Fill me in. One party provided some
  30. material. The other decided they wouldn't distribute it. I fail to see how
  31. this is banning or could even lead to banning. We practice this behavior
  32. every day. I learned about incremental parsing today and choose not to tell
  33. you. Am I banning information on incremental parsing?

  35. *My* point is that there's a hell of a lot of information that is truly
  36. censored. Information that the government, corporations, and individuals
  37. would actively prevent you from receiving because they consider it indecent
  38. or dangerous to their power. Nobody, other than Ice Cube, is actively
  39. preventing you from hearing "Pin the Tail on the Honky". To try and puff
  40. this up into a real case of censorship or even the beginnings of censorship
  41. is just plain incorrect. Worse it confuses the issue.

  53. Is Ice Cube's record company suppressing or deleting something considered
  54. objectionable? Certainly they're choosing not to be associated with
  55. something they consider objectionable. If that's your definition of
  56. censorship and you object to it then I'm sure you would appreciate the
  57. Klan's right to burn a cross on your front yard. Otherwise *you* would be
  58. censoring their free speech.
