- There is a McDonalds about 1 mile from my home and am (barely) able
- to hear the order frequency. Here is a conversation that occurred
- recently (M = McDonalds, C = woman customer).
-
- M: Welcome to Hillsborough McDonalds. May I take your order?
- C: I'll have 2 Happy Meals, Big Mac and fries.
- M: What kind of drinks with the Happy Meals?
- C: Orange, please.
- M: Will there be anything else?
- C: I'll have a vanilla shake and that's it.
- M: Okay. That's one Happy Meal, Big Mac, ...
- C: (interrupts) No. That's 2 Happy Meals.
- M: Sorry. Okay. That's 2 Happy Meals, 2 Cokes, ...
- C: (interrupts) No! That's two orange drinks.
- (pause - can hear the woman talking to someone in the car about this guy)
- M: Okay. That's 2 Happy Meals with orange sodas, one chocolate shake, ...
- C: (interrupts) No! That's a vanilla shake. Hey, am I on Candid Camera
- or something!
-
- The woman finally got her order straight. Guess the guy was having a
- bad day. :')
