- Once again, wakefullness came upon the broken Killian. How long has he been
- here? Who was still alive? How would his companions react to the things he
- has done? Too many questions and no answers. There were only two things that
- were on Killian's mind. Bed and booze.
-
- Killian's naturally fast healing had already repaired some of the more minor
- damage, so he was able to get to his feet. Gripping anything that was around
- for support, the wounded bard stumbled towards his cabin. His vision was foggy
- and unclear, but he could still see the looks that his surviving shipmates
- shot at him.
-
- To blazes with them. It's not my fault. My dear brother will have much to pay
- if I can ever find him. Get to my cabin. Find the potions and the whiskey.
- Gods! What have I done here?
-
- Killian managed to stumble into the doorway leading down to the cabins. He
- fell down the stairs and rolled halfway down the hall. As luck would have it,
- he stopped rolling right in front of his door. He reached up, pushed open the
- door, and crawled inside. He immediately focused on his backpack, lain
- carelessly in a corner. He pulled himself over to the pack and reached inside,
- his hand closing on the wonderfull coolness of the healing potion. He uncorked
- it and drank the whole thing in three gulps.
-
- Wincing at the foul taste and sighing with relief as the potion worked his
- majik, he tossed the empty bottle over his shoulder. It shattered on the back
- wall and shards of glass went everywhere. The next bottle he pulled from his
- backpack contained healing spirits of a different sort. He looked lovingly at
- the whiskey as he proceeded to get completely drunk.
