- Alex and the brood had moved house some four months ago now.
- It was a nice place, he thought, and plenty of sleeping space. A lot
- of nice people, always on hand as an emergency feeding stock. Anna
- liked the place, as did the others, Tekuma, Barth and Khalid.
- Alex had been reacquainting himself with the city of his birth,
- although it had been hundreds of years ago when he'd last looked upon
- the fair streets of Generica.
- He noticed that many things had appeared, like the Mages Guild, which
- hadn't been here before.
- He had noticed that the Dragon's Inn was still here. Ah the Inn. He'd
- had much fun within the walls of that place, when he was a young
- adventurer.
- Alex reminisced a while longer.
-
-
- Tekuma was bored. He wanted to get out and have some fun. Alex and
- Anna were no fun anymore.
- He swung down off a bunk-bed, and decided to split out for the night.
- He put on a long coat over his tunic, and went outside. He heard Anna
- and Alex talking in low voices. Something about controlling someone.
- Tekuma shrugged to himself- Alex was always looking to control something
- no matter what.
- He'd say it was to keep them all safe from hunters, but Tekuma thought
- he just did it for the sake of control, nothing else.
-
- The boy-vampire was soon out on the street, looking for some likely
- fun. He had a pouch of money, a knife, and a desire for some fun.
- He headed for the Low City.
-
- The Low City is not ususally the best place for young lads to wander
- late at night. It was almost a certainty that young lads would be
- waylaid by certain people. Tekuma was counting on this for his
- amusement.
- Sure enough, and soon enough, three large and burly types, of the
- bandit/street thug archetype detatched themselves from the darkness and
- made their way towards the boy.
- Tekuma couldn't help smiling ...
