- Kloote and his two companions entered the Inn and moved to the bar, where
- Kloote asked, "Can I have the back room for a couple of minutes?"
- Littlefair gestured a "why not?" and the three retired to the back room
- (where once Rhoan Pathkeeper, William the Younger of Tell, and others had had
- a contest throwing axes and the like).
- From the Rabble, someone shouted, "Do nothing I wouldn't do!" and the rest
- of the Rabble laughed. Listener groaned. He had heard that too often
- already, and always from the same guy...
-
- Shortly after that, Voop-ki the jailer - a small, elderly man - entered the
- Inn. As soon as he closed the door behind him, a noise could be heard outside.
- Two persons rushed by him, and the noise turned out to be caused by several
- elementals out in the Plaza. There was a lot of commotion, and Voop-ki
- barely managed to stay out of the way. He climbed on a table to get a better
- view of what was going on outside - those silly gawkers were blocking the
- sight.
